Introduction

Metahero (HERO) is a deflationary utility token built on BNB Smart Chain that sits at the intersection of blockchain technology and advanced 3D scanning. The project's core mission is to bridge the physical and digital worlds by letting users transform real people and objects into ultra-realistic digital assets for use across the metaverse.

At its heart, Metahero gives anyone the ability to 'scan themselves into the internet' — creating lifelike avatars, NFTs, and virtual objects that can be deployed in games, VR platforms, social media, and digital fashion.

History & Background

Metahero was founded in 2021 by entrepreneur Robert Gryn and blockchain developer Piotr Żygadło. The project launched its HERO token in July 2021 on BNB Smart Chain, conducting a presale that raised 10,000 BNB.

From the outset, Metahero partnered with Wolf Digital World (WDW), a studio with over eight years of R&D in 3D scanning whose technology has already been used by major brands in the music, gaming, and fashion industries. The first public meta-scanning chamber was installed in Doha, Qatar, marking the project's move from concept to physical deployment.

How Metahero Works

Metahero's flagship hardware is a UHD meta-scanning chamber — a system of 16 mobile columns each equipped with cameras that simultaneously capture every detail of a person or object. The resulting scan is rendered into a high-fidelity 3D model.

These 3D models are then minted as NFTs on the blockchain, making them immutably owned, instantly tradeable, and licensable to game developers or other platforms. Users pay for scans using HERO tokens, tying real-world utility directly to the token's demand.

Tokenomics

HERO is designed as a deflationary token. A percentage of every transaction is automatically burned, gradually reducing the supply over time. Simultaneously, a share of each transaction is distributed proportionately among all existing HERO holders — a mechanism sometimes called 'smart staking' — rewarding long-term holders passively.

Once protocol liquidity exceeds a set threshold, BNB collected from transaction taxes is used to buy back and burn additional HERO, reinforcing the deflationary model. The token distribution included a public and private presale allocation, with a matching allocation permanently locked in the liquidity pool.

Ecosystem & Use Cases

  • 3D avatar creation: Scan yourself or any object into an ultra-realistic digital asset.
  • NFT marketplace: Mint, auction, trade, or sell scanned 3D NFTs.
  • Gaming integration: License your avatar to game developers or play as yourself in video games.
  • HERO app: A companion application for managing holdings, tracking rewards, and accessing the ecosystem.
  • Everdome metaverse: HERO integrates with the Everdome project, extending avatar utility into a dedicated virtual world.

Team, Governance & Community

Robert Gryn, a seasoned tech entrepreneur, leads as CEO, while Piotr Żygadło drives technical development as CTO. Wolf Digital World handles all hardware and software aspects of the scanning infrastructure.

HERO holders can participate in governance by voting on key changes within the Metahero application, giving the community a direct voice in the platform's evolution.

Advantages

  • Tangible real-world utility through physical scanning chambers, not just a digital concept.
  • Deflationary design creates a built-in economic incentive for long-term holders.
  • Broad use case coverage spanning gaming, NFTs, fashion, and social media.
  • Established technical partner in Wolf Digital World with a proven industry track record.

Risks & Challenges

  • Adoption dependency: The value of HERO is closely tied to the rollout of physical scanning chambers, which is capital-intensive and geographically limited.
  • Competition: The metaverse and avatar space is crowded, with well-funded incumbents.
  • Execution risk: Hardware deployment at global scale is operationally complex and subject to delays.
  • Market volatility: As a smaller-cap token, HERO is susceptible to significant price swings.

Long-Term Vision

Metahero envisions building the world's largest database of scanned people and objects, serving as a critical infrastructure layer for the metaverse economy. The team aims to expand meta-scanning chambers to highly urbanised locations worldwide, develop mobile and foldable chamber designs, and integrate HERO into everyday spending via a Visa partnership.

Ultimately, the project bets that as virtual worlds become more central to daily life, demand for ultra-realistic digital representations of the physical world will grow — and HERO will be the currency that powers that transition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Metahero is a blockchain project on BNB Smart Chain that combines ultra-HD 3D scanning technology with NFT smart contracts to let users create realistic digital avatars and assets for use in the metaverse, gaming, and virtual reality. HERO is its native deflationary utility token.

HERO is a BEP-20 token deployed on BNB Smart Chain. The chain was chosen for its fast transaction speeds and low fees, supporting Metahero's goal of broad accessibility.

Metahero uses UHD meta-scanning chambers equipped with 16 columns of synchronized cameras to capture a full 3D model of a person or object. The resulting model is then minted as an NFT on the blockchain.

Users can play as themselves in video games, license their avatar to third-party developers for royalties, auction or sell their 3D NFT on a marketplace, or use it across supported metaverse platforms like Everdome.

A percentage of every HERO transaction is automatically burned, permanently reducing the token supply over time. Additionally, once liquidity reaches a set level, the protocol buys back and burns more HERO using accumulated BNB.

Metahero was co-founded by Robert Gryn (CEO), a tech entrepreneur, and Piotr Żygadło (CTO), an experienced blockchain developer. The project's technical partner is Wolf Digital World (WDW).

Wolf Digital World is Metahero's core technical partner, responsible for all hardware and software related to the 3D scanning chambers. WDW brings over eight years of R&D in physical-to-digital scanning technology.

HERO tokens can be purchased on decentralized exchanges such as PancakeSwap using BNB, as well as on select centralized exchanges. The Metahero app is also planned to serve as a direct entry point for purchasing HERO.
